On arrival at the airport, Cancun or Cozumel, there usually await many real estate agents representing hotel groups that they are employed to sell time-share properties. Since I did not arrange the airport transportation to my hotel, I requested a help from one of them, her name is Angela.
Of course she is representing her properties, The Occidental, which is located at Playa del Carmen in Cancun, and she offered me many bells and whistles to entice me to see her properties in exchange for the round trip taxi rides between the airport and the hotel, it usually costs $20, which is a better deal than just taking a cab both ways.
We took a ferryboat to Playa del Carmen and two young ladies joined me to show me the enormous leisure resort built within an Eco-friendly tropical jungle. It is a village by itself. The resort compounds and facilities are sporadically placed in the midst of nature. The room count is 800 and operating at full capacity at this time of the year.
The time-share rooms and suites are very well-kept with many amenities. The facility itself has everything that you would want in your vacation; from the private sandy beach, swimming pools, diving, golf, snorkeling facilities, tennis, basketball courts, a wave-tapered bay, you name it, they have it.
If you like to be surrounded by the tropical nature, you will surely enjoy this gigantic complex.
